This portrait photography project explores the interplay between light, colour, and form, using studio techniques to create three distinct images within a cohesive visual theme.
Working with fashion as the central concept, I styled my model in blue to evoke calm, confidence, and clarity. The use of silhouetted shadow became a key compositional element, adding a dynamic feel.
By varying light quality, camera composition, and editing approach, I explored how fashion photography can shift in tone and meaning—while still maintaining a consistent visual identity.
This project strengthened my technical control over studio lighting, camera settings, and post-production, while also developing my skills in creative direction and visual storytelling.
FINAL OUTCOMES:
-One harsh light portrait
-One soft light portrait
-One creatively edited image, transformed using a mobile app to reimagine the original shot through digital manipulation
-All images made into branded collateral
